  • Description: This will be a fun, hands-on multimedia experience! Free and open to the public! little bang theory band Demonstration, Workshop and Performance! little bang theory is Terri Sarris, Frank Pahl and Doug Shimmin. You can get a sense of the diversity of their work here, here, here, and here. Aided by clips from filmmaker Terri Sarris, Frank Pahl will discuss the evolution of his interest in both automatic and toy instruments. Students will have the opportunity to improvise music for a few clips of a silent film, and then little bang theory will perform their original accompaniment to Wladislaw Starewicz's 1934 short animated film, The Mascot. Director Terry Gilliam (of Monty Python and Brazil) fame, lists The Mascot as one of the best animated films of all time! Sunday, March 25, 3-5 p.m., Living Arts Studio (1320 Bursley Hall).
