Graham Institute Profile
Mike Shriberg is the Education Director of the Graham Institute and oversees its educational programs, such as the Planet Blue Ambassador Program, Sustainability Scholars Program and Dow Fellows Program. He teaches ENVIRON/RCIDIV 391: Sustainability and the Campus, EARTH/ENVIRON 344: Sustainable & Fossil Energy, UC 227: Planet Blue Ambassadors Training, ENVIRON 139, 037: College, Culture & Sustainability: Living on a Changed Planet and UC 427: Sustainability Leadership Development, among other courses.
Before joining the Graham Institute, Mike served as Policy Director for the Ecology Center, Michigan's largest environmental organization. He also worked as Director of Environment Michigan/PIRGIM (Public Interest Research Group in Michigan) from 2004-2007. Prior to joining PIRGIM, Mike served as Program Director and Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as an adjunct Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University. Mike has authored over 50 articles and reports. He has been featured in articles in The New York Times and Washington Post as well as on National Public Radio.
