• Breast Cancer in Women with African Ancestry. Established a bi-directional exchange with Komfe Anoyke Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana as part of her research on breast cancer among women of African descent. Two visits from KATH collaborators are expected this year
• Newman to visit KATH again June 2007 with research assistants (2004-present).
