- Principle Investigator of an astrophysics project that has installed a small robotic telescope in the Khomas Highlands of Namibia, about half-way between Windhoek and Walvis Bay. We have three other identical instruments scattered around the world. I spent about three weeks in Nambia and South Africa this summer improving instrumentation and encouraging the development of scientific collaboration with a group in South Africa (Capetown). (2003-present, NASA, NSF, Australian Research Council).
- Search for the optical counterparts of gamma-ray bursts and other transients (with Professor T. McKay)
