Explore how fossils are created. What parts of animals become fossilized? How old are the earliest fossils? Families will discover how fossil casts are made in the museum by making their own casts to take home. This short program offers something for all ages – exciting information about fossils and fun, hands-on exploration of fossil casting! These 20-30 minute interactive programs take place on the 2nd floor of the U-M Museum of Natural History.  They include both brief presentations highlighting university research and engaging hands-on activities. They are suitable for adults and children, ages 5 and up.
