Northern Michigan residents and vacationers are invited to the Biological Station for our annual Discovery Day.
From 2-2:45, we'll have a few short talks in our lecture hall. One will give the history of the Biological Station. Another will feature a current research discussing her work at the Station.
From 2:45-4:00, guests will get a guided tour of the Station. Stops will include the Insects classroom with its collection of dramatic mounted “bugs,” the Fish lab which will quiz visitors on whether they know their local fish, and an antlion "doodleboard" in the Behavioral Ecology lab.
This event is free and open to the public.
