Anthony works as a Designer and Integrated Marketing Specialist. Collaborating with senior editorial/PR and creative staff, Anthony serves as an integral member of a team that is responsible for all advertising and marketing creative development, design, and production for one of the world’s leading liberal arts colleges. This team manages both an internal creative design and production department, as well as leveraging external partner agencies/services/vendors as needed. They establish brand guidelines and refine and maintain the graphic identity and brand positioning of the College. Anthony works closely with the CMS/web, editorial/PR, and creative teams to ensure the College website, department/program websites, creative work, and media plans are on strategy while maintaining the brand and achieving targeted goals for our partners/clients (dean’s office, departments, program leaders, centers, institutes, and initiatives). He works with the editorial/PR and creative teams to ensure an integrated marketing communications approach that delivers on established strategies targeting our (1) external audiences (i.e., prospective students, alumni, donors and prospective donors, corporate partners, and the media), and (2) internal audiences (i.e., faculty, staff, students, and the wider University community). Representative duties include: Design and produce a variety of high quality publications, graphics, collaterals, and marketing solutions. Establish conceptual and stylistic direction, both individually and collaboratively, for web, print, and interactive media projects consistent with the branding of the College of LSA. Plan and execute the design and implementation of complex, interactive web solutions for the College and affiliated departments and programs. Provide technical expertise/assistance in areas where there are unmet needs within the College.
To improve and promote awareness among current and potential students, parents, faculty, alumni, and the general community of the value of a liberal arts education, the quality of study and wealth of events and resources available within the College of LSA, and to champion the College of LSA’s status as the preeminent public liberal arts institutions in the nation. To ensure consistency of the corporate/brand identity for LSA and its affiliated departments and programs both within and outside the University community and across all channels (digital, mobile, social, print). To speed or ease workflows, including the automation of certain tasks where applicable. And to serve as both an internal and external resource to the LSA DMC team, the College, and affiliated departments and programs where there is need for high-end graphic design, marketing communication, and/or technical needs consistent with LSA DMC’s mission of creating a culture of giving, engagement, and advancement.
