  Adam Sypniewski was born in Petoskey, Michigan. He earned his B.S. in physics and mathematics from Alma College, and his M.S. in physics at the University of Michigan. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in the physics department, studying astrophysics and cosmology. He enjoys programming, photography, traveling, and reading.
