  M-Niclas' Master's thesis was entitled "Aspects of Gender in Hollywood Horror Movies."  He spent one year abroad as a Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University.  He contributed a chapter named "Deleting Memory Space: The Gaming of History and the Absence of the Holocaust" to a volume entitled Immersions (forthcoming in early 2012) and has presented on Digital Cultures, Masculinity, Weimar Stardom and Problems of Authorship in Video Games at numerous conferences. In 2011, he collaborated with Professor Johannes von Moltke in designing the newly created 300-level class "Fascist Cinemas.
