Every winter term, MRC and WISE RP sophomores have the opportunity to create an electronic portfolio. The ePortfolio sessions are one of the sophomore track options and are offered monthly in four two-hour sessions. Electronic portfolios are used by many people as personal and professional tools both inside and outside the university. The most common use for portfolios at the undergraduate level is to create a portfolio that more accurately captures the range and depth of student experiences at UM-- both inside and outside the classroom. They’re an excellent platform to make one-dimensional resume entries a multi-faceted showcase. Many students have used them as supplements to their resumes when applying for internships, jobs, graduate school, and medical school with very positive responses.
Below are some recent portfolios created by WISE RP students.
