Women’s Studies

Michigan Feminist Studies Journal

Michigan Feminist Studies (MFS) is an interdisciplinary feminist journal that is published annually and edited by graduate students at the University of Michigan since 1989.

The editors of MFS are committed to providing a forum for interdisciplinary dialogue and critical exchange, publishing papers in many disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, psychology, literature, language & linguistics, science studies, history, philosophy, art history, film, political science, and education. The journal attracts graduate student and faculty submissions nationally and internationally.

In addition to publishing scholarly research, MFS has also featured interviews, poetry and photo essays. The MFS collection provides an excellent research tool for scholarship on specific topics or for those interested in charting the course of Women’s Studies in the US academy. More information about MFS, as well as links to past issues, can be found here on the MFS website.
