Scholarly Interests: My research interests concern the history of sexuality in the United States and Germany from the turn of the twentieth century to the present with a focus on discourses about the sex offender, the family, privacy, and sex law. Currently, I am a coordinator for the Doing Queer Studies Now Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop. I'm also raising four chickens in my backyard, which produce both blue and brown eggs.
