Scholarly Interests: My research focuses on the links between sexuality, gender equity, and sexual health. Specific interests include the examination of how social marginalization in relation to age, gender, race/ethnicity, class, and/or sexual orientation affect individual and group-level experience of sexual health. My research focus on gender differences in sexuality and sexual behavior has prepared me for my current investigation of gender discrepancies in the experience of Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD).
