Focusing on Greece and the Mediterranean, the College Year in Athens program (CYA) offers courses in ancient, medieval, and modern Greek history, politics, literature, philosophy, and archaeology, as well as ancient and modern Greek language and Latin. Programs are offered in Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.

Intended audience: Classical Studies students and others with an interest in Greece and the Mediterranean.

Course Requirements: Exams, reports, and research papers.

Class Format: Students take 4-5 courses per semester, with each normally meeting twice per week for an hour each time. Language classes often meet three times per week.
