Primary Instructor:

Introduction to materials engineering and materials processing in manufacturing. The engineering properties of metals, polymers, semiconductors, ceramics, and composites are correlated with the internal structure of the materials and the service conditions.

There are electronic version of this book and also a version that does not have a hard cover and is unbound. Both of these versions are MUCH cheaper. I am looking into how to get these version on Wolverine Access and will update the site soon. 
You are also welcome to purchase any other edition of the book. You will just have to get a copy of the homework problems that will be assigned from the 8th edition. I will try to post these on Ctools.
