Primary Instructor:

Introduction to the Anglo-American legal system and the development of substantive and procedural law with emphasis on the idea that business relationships are based upon contractual agreements. The course also includes products liability, consumer protection laws, international business transactions and the relationship between law and ethics. Cases are read to trace the development of the common law and to illustrate actual business problems.
