Description

This laboratory course provides hands-on experience with physiological systems at the level of organisms and organ systems. Students should be aware that this course uses live animals.

Intended Audience:

This course is intended for students in their sophomore or junior year, and other qualified and interested students are welcome.

Prior or concurrent enrollment in BIOLOGY 225 is strongly recommended to take this course.

Class Format:

There is one four-hour laboratory session a week. Students perform experiments in small groups, collate class data, perform analyses, lead summary presentations, and are expected to participate in class discussion. A term paper is required during the term.
