This is a general introduction to cognitive psychology. Topics covered include
- perception
- learning
- memory
- language
- imagery
- reasoning
- problem-solving and decision making.
In covering these topics, relevant theory, methods, and data will be reviewed. Historical and interdisciplinary aspects of many of these topics will be touched upon.
Class costs will be c. $100-$150 for the text and Coglab access (for the online labs).
Course Requirements:
Grades will be based upon performance on three exams (90%) and participation (10%, primarily completing lab exercises).
