Description

¿Cuáles son las luchas y los temas más persistentes en los debates feministas actuales en América Latina? ¿Cómo la mirada cinematográfica de las últimas décadas pone en escena y dialoga con esas temáticas?

Este curso ofrece a las/os estudiantes la oportunidad de practicar su destreza conversacional en español a partir de la discusión de filmes de ficción y documental principalmente de América Latina pero también de España y Estados Unidos. Conversaremos sobre tres nudos centrales en las luchas feministas actuales: 1) la división entre lo privado y lo público; 2) la visibilización del trabajo; y 3) las sexualidades e identidades de género en la vida cotidiana.   

This course counts toward the Spanish major and as elective credit toward the Spanish minor.
