Description

Collaborate with peers at the largest university in Colombia - Bogota’s UNIMINUTO - to explore public discourse at the intersection of poverty and the environment in both countries. Without physically traveling, you can make new friends in another country, while examining key topics in environmental communication. Students will work in international teams to produce podcast episodes featuring interviews with a range of people -- from both countries -- in public conversations about poverty and the environment.

Strongly encouraged: patience in the face of language and cultural barriers, plus a grade of C- or higher in SPANISH 230 or 232, or RCLANG 294 -- or equivalent.
