In this class, we will familiarize ourselves with the environmental issues that some Spanish-speaking countries are currently facing and with the ways in which they are responding to them. We will take a closer look at how these issues impact society, for instance economically and culturally. Further, we will try to imagine and understand the ways in which these issues may impact the future. Together we will get curious about problems and solutions, consumption and sustainability.
Successfully completing Spanish 232 Environmental Issues would help students to qualify for the Excellence in Sustainability Honors Cord Program. More info here: Sustainability Honors Cord | Planet Blue Campus
