- Maybe: Take 5 mins to form sentences about “Mein Pinguin” – or “Mein Känguru.”
- Almanya Teil 1 overhead
- Brief demo of the “Reading Notes” for Die Känguru-Chroniken:
- General description of the book (first two bullet points)
- How these notes work, i.e. the division of the page into 5 parts: a, b, c, d, e
- “Things you should know/understand for the mini-quiz” section
- “Känguruvokabeln” section
- Sections on “Kapitel 7 Vokabeln” and “Kapitel 1-6 Vokabeln” in this part of the Känguru book.
- Look at PDF of the beginning of the book on the 102 Canvas site (Files > 02. Die Känguru-Chroniken Seite 7-26 und 31-34 und 46-50.pdf).
- “Was bisher geschah” – “Nichts.”
- Partner*innen: Take turns reading page 11. Switch every 4 or 5 lines.
