Outline plan:
- Practice with one or two of the “Sprechtest 1” index cards
- Groups of 4-6: work with the vocab worksheet that was due today:
- Follow instructions on the worksheet for sharing what you wrote for Section B
- Read favorite sentences from Section D to each other; the group translates each sentence
- Relative pronoun quiz game:
- Each student writes two (or more) questions that involve relative pronouns. Examples:
- Wer ist der Mann, der in einer Ananas unter der See wohnt? [Vicki’s student Dwight came up with this; the answer is SpongeBob]
- Wie heißt die Stadt, in der Mozart geboren ist? [Salzburg]
- Students then ask the class as a whole their questions
- Each student writes two (or more) questions that involve relative pronouns. Examples:
- hätte/wäre/würde:
- Finish any leftovers from the hätte/wäre/würde section of yesterday’s overhead
- Aktivität 15. This is good practice of the chapter vocab. Additional items:
- 9. auf deinem Handy telefonieren
- 10. Fragen stellen [good Kap 9 practice!]
- Afterwards: “Was würden Sie in einem Vorstellungsgespräch tun oder nicht tun?”
- Overhead: Hättest du Lust…?
- Try to come up with your own ideas, using the suggestions on the overhead as models!
