The William E. Upjohn Exhibit Wing of the Kelsey Museum is open to the public during the following hours:
Tuesdays through Fridays, 9 am to 4 pm
Saturdays and Sundays, 1 pm to 4 pm
Closed Mondays and University holidays
Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
Location / Driving Directions
The Kelsey Museum of Archaeology is located at 434 South State Street at the heart of the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.
From the west on I-94
Take Exit 172 off I-94, drive 3 miles east toward Ann Arbor on Jackson Road, which becomes Huron Street. Turn right on South State Street, go three blocks, and pass William Street. The Kelsey Museum will be the fourth building on your right.
From the east on I-94
Take Exit 177 off I-94, turn right at State Street. Drive 2.7 miles, pass South University Avenue. The Kelsey Museum will be the third building on your left.
From the east or west on M-14
Take Exit 3 off M-14, merge onto North Main Street, and go 1.4 miles toward downtown Ann Arbor. Turn left at East Huron Street. Go .4 miles, then turn right at South State Street, and go .3 miles. Pass William Street, and the Kelsey Museum will be the fourth building on your right.
