About
As a political scientist-in-training, I have been focusing on the intersections between authoritarian politics/regime change, social movements, and public opinion. Geographically, I am focusing on the Asia-Pacific region and here in particular Myanmar and Hong Kong, where I have conducted various protest and public opinion surveys.
Before joining Michigan, I graduated with an MSc In Politics Research from the University of Oxford, St Antony’s College. Prior to that, I obtained a BA Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin and a BSc Sustainable Management from the Technical University of Berlin, and also studied at the City University of Hong Kong and the University College London.
I was a Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies Graduate Fellow in 2018 and am a 2019 Southeast Asia Research Group (SEAREG) Pre-Dissertation Fellow.
