Multi-room building (MB) 1 was one of the largest structures at the sanctuary. Its close proximity to the temple of Mên indicates that it may have housed numerous activities that took place at the sanctuary. The structure may have functioned as a dining room, sleeping accommodations, a cooking area, or a meeting room.
