Kelsi is a graduate student trainee in social demography at the Population Studies Center. She researches comparative gender inequality with a focus on the United States and East Asia.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Kelsi was a research associate at Stanford University, conducting research and policy analysis of the Asia-Pacific region and its development, on topics including women's empowerment and global talent flows. Originally from a small town in Michigan, Kelsi has lived in South Korea, China, the United Kingdom, and France for her professional work and studies.
