With just a few weeks left in this semester, UMMAA would like to highlight Dr. Bree Doering! Doering received her PhD from U-M in 2020, and since then, she has been assistant professor of archaeology at the University of Wyoming.
The past year has been extremely productive for Doering! In the summer of 2023, she received the highly prestigious NSF CAREER grant. She also has been busy publishing, including an article in the Journal of Field Archaeology on efficiently and systematically identifying activity areas across deeply stratified open-air sites.
