If you’re already a U-M Ann Arbor student in another school or college and want to transfer into the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, you’ll apply as a cross-campus transfer student.
Complete the following steps:
1. Explore LSA degree options, general requirements, major and minor programs, and advising resources. Keep track of questions and points of interest so you're prepared for the next step.
2. Schedule a cross-campus transfer advising appointment with a Newnan general advisor to ask questions, review your progress, and discuss your future in LSA. If you know what major you want to pursue, connect with their advising team too.
3. If you decide to transfer, a Newnan general advisor will initiate the cross-campus application for you to complete. In the application, you’ll pick your start term and provide your reason for transferring.
4. Look for an email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with your acceptance and next steps to register for classes in LSA. Follow their instructions carefully to finalize your transfer.
