Myles Durkee (Assistant Professor of Psychology) received an Early Career Excellence Award from the Program for Research on Black Americans (PRBA), and Pat Gurin (Nancy Cantor Distinguished University Professor Emerita of Psychology and Women's Studies) received a PRBA Lifetime Achievement Award.

The awards were presented at the 2023 Reunion of the Program for Research on Black Americans, which was held following the James S. Jackson Symposium.
